The crypt under the basilica where Cardinal Mindszenty is buried -- if there's a picture of Bl. JPII praying outside your tomb that's a pretty big deal
wandering around the castle
eating a MASSIVE pile of greasy food (between the two of us)
walking to Slovakia (I'm in two places at once!!)
eating ice cream there
walking back -- the Slovaks (on the left side) have a much better view!
The only not-so-great part of the trip was how I kept getting us lost :(
A poor sense of direction and a dislike for asking for directions aren't a good combination.
All in all it was a good day -- nice to get out of Budapest for a few hours.
